Officer specific jobs are mandatory. Officers are to choose the job they feel they can help with the most for our free company. We will use these to help determine how well Officers are doing their jobs. This will also be used to determine if an Officer deserves a promotion.
If officers are not able to maintain their designated requirements they may be asked to switch jobs or step down to a member.

Trial Officers will need to choose (1) one Officer jobs to help the Free Company. The jobs are listed below:

Gathering and Crafting
The gather/crafter jobs are interconnected, therefore they will be grouped together. The Quote may differ because of this. Please go to your local Operations/Executive Officer so they can direct you on what is currently needed
Gathering
1. Responsibilities include Using Gathering classes (Miner, Botanist, Fisher) to collect items for Airships, Free Company Buffs, Housing Items, and other FC events.

2. FC window history will provide documentation for the job and evaluations will be based on providing a steady supply of what is currently needed in the FC. We have various Free Company projects that can be viewed in Discord, for an idea of what is needed to be gathered.

3. Raw resources like cobalt ore, darksteel items not on timed node but items that can be gathered in Diadem as well: 600 items weekly. Collecting unspoiled nodes or soil: 20-40 weekly

3. If there is nothing to gather at the time you can gather shards, crystals, and clusters. You can also gather some of the ingredients used to craft the new food

Crafting
1. Responsibilities include Using the Crafting classes (WVR, CRP, LTW, BSM, ARM, GSM, ALC, CUL) to craft items for our Free Company Buffs, Airships, Housing Items, Events, and members in our Free Company. Actual Evaluations for the job will be based on documentation provided in the appropriate channels on Discord.

2. Weekly Quota could be one of the items listed below or a combination:
- Crafting alliance project items - Minimum of 700 items weekly (HQ not required, can quick synth all items.
- Contribute to current patch food items (Food Project): Minimum of 99 HQ foods crafted weekly.
- Crafting for members in the Free Company: 3 items per week (can include Lotto/Event Donations, Minimum Market Value of 100k).

We do have multiple free company projects which can help crafter’s meet their minimum quota weekly.

Dungeon Runner
1. Responsibilities include actively helping members through Instances, Dungeons, and other things they request help on.

2. Dungeon runner is going beyond just inviting members when you do your dailies. Please try to run with members, as opposed to an officer majority party unless there is a lack of participants. Most members will enjoy running dungeons and may appreciate a fast queue from a Tank or Healer roll.

Social Butterfly
1. Responsibilities include Keep the Free Company Chat Active and Engage Members in Conversation in Free Company Chat.

2. Be mindful to greet people as they log into the game, as long as the officer is not in a dungeon or instance.

Recruiter
1. Responsibilities to recruit new members to the free company and keep the Free Company Census up. Will be evaluated on how often the person recruits.

2. Requirement is 3 x weekly, if the person is a Operations/Executive Officer it would be base requirement +1 so 4 times weekly.

3. All recruitment will be done via Private Message ingame. Recruiters will NOT use shout or say. Please be able to differentiate between legit players and gil bots. Your goal as recruiter is to discover and invite potential active members, not to fill up the FC with Lv2 alts and bots. If you are a people person this may be the perfect job!

Event Runner
1. Responsibilities include advertising our Daily Events, recruiting members to participate in the events, and filling in for the events if needed.

2. Requirements:
- Help run two events weekly (also to be an extra-body or back-up for the event) OR Host one event weekly.
- Host the event they help volunteer to run weekly if the actual host cannot run it.
- Must advertise macros throughout the week for their event and other events. Will need to spam Macros 15-30-60 minutes before the event starts. Avoid logging in last minute, members may ask other officers if your event is canceled.
- Help organize the event(s) you choose to participate in, find volunteers, get them recruited into the event or make sure they are invited to the group by passing their name to the event leader. Host a second party if needed.

3. Additional Notes
- Announce an event 10-15 minutes prior to the actual recruitment opening. "At this time xx:xx est I will put my PF up for this event with password of **"
- Event runners may keep the same password every week.
- If a member already has the mount and someone else wants in please ask the member or officer to drop. Priority: Members who need the event -> Officers who need the event -> helpers.
- Events cannot be changed more than once a month, Give a weeks notice if you want to change.
- Events need to be 8 man content that can be ran cross world party

Examples of Events can be:
- Raids and Trials that offer Mounts or achievements.
- Popular Alliance Raids.
- Popular Treasure Map Runs
- Sightseeing Log or Aether Current acquisitions.
- BLU spell collection runs
- Wondrous Tails run
- Test your own runs, be creative!

These members are wanting to become Officers in the Free Company. They will have a one to two month trial to see if they meet the standards of our Free Company. These are our interns who are wanting to become an Officer. These people are starting to show signs of being an Officer.


- Follow the rules of the Free Company & enforce the rules.
- Discord Chat is a requirement for all Officers in the core.
- May have Google Docs if appropriate.
- Help Relay Free Company Events through the Alliance Linkshells and into Free Company Chat for our members. This includes discord links, currently giveaway/events, and FC amenities macros. (Officers to use their discretion as to how often, but at least once a day would be helpful)
- Be approachable by the Free Company members. Be supportive.
- Do your chosen job to help the Free Company and strive at that.
- Do you best to help with these jobs that are everyone's responsibility to keep our Free Company running
- Chat in Free Company chat and engage the Free Company.
- Helping players out with duties and trials.
- Help answer questions if you know the answers.
- Be mindful of how you display yourself as an officer.
- Free Company recruitment, do your best!

Time Expectations:
- Officers are required to log on at least three times a week to perform their specific duties.
- If a Trial Officer/Officer does not log on 3 x weekly they will be demoted to senior member. This includes quality time completing their officer job, this does not include logging on for 5 minutes and logging off.

Officers will need to choose (1) one Officer job to help the Free Company. The jobs are listed below:

Auxiliary Officers will need to choose (2) two Auxiliary Officers jobs along with their (1) one Officer job to help the Free Company. The jobs are listed below:

Stock Krakka Root and Grysal Greens in the Free Company Chest Daily
1. The person will need to check the in-game FC chest inside the FC Mansion and see if the tab 1 items offered to members are empty or not (Krakka roots, Chrysal Greens, Food, etc)

2. Check the stock of the items to be restocked and alert if they're getting too low to a higher officer/crafters and gatherers.

3. Items that clutter tab 1 (the public tab) for a period of time are moved to tab 5. Some members may share weekly fashion dyes or gear, so please be careful to check the fashion channel when there are multiples of same gear. The inventory manager will sell Tab 5 and put the gil back in the FC chest.

4. Will be evaluated on how much the chest is filled daily and if its not left empty for multiple hours without anything for the members.

Deploy the Correct Buffs Daily:
1. The person will need to check the in-game buffs and make sure they never falls off and are always up in time daily 0000 EST.

2. Check if the buffs are getting low in stock on the FC Tab and warn the responsible Executive Officer/Operations Officer to restock them.

3. Will be evaluated on the buffs being up daily on time.

Clean the Chocobo Stables When Indicated
1. The person will need to check the in-game Chocobo Stables and check if they are clean.

2. Check the stock of brooms on the FC Chest and alert a higher officer if the stock is getting low.

3. Will be evaluated on how often the stables are clean - Remember that a dirty stable means less XP granted to the members' chocobos that are resting in it.

Monitor the Aetherial Wheel:

1. The person will need to check the in-game buffs wheel and make sure they're always charging and activate the ready ones.

2. Check if the Buffs Wheels stock on the FC Chest are getting low and alert an Executive Officer/Operations Officer in charge of crafting them.

3. Will be evaluated on always making sure the FC has 2 Grade III buffs weekly.

Deploy the Airships and Submersibles to the Correct Sectors when they have completed:
1. The person will need to check the in-game subs and airships daily and deploy them to the correct destinations.

2. Remember to place all airship/submersible materials into the appropriate tabs of the Free Company Chest. Check with the officers if there are any projects going on that use the items. Minions, furniture, and leftovers will be used for events or recycled for gil to the FC chest, put in Tab 5.

3. Follow/Help the plan of the Officer in charge of the subs/airships projects.

4. Will be evaluated on how often the Airships/Submersibles are sitting in the workshop and are not deployed.

Operations Officers will need to choose (2) two Operations Officers jobs along with their (1) one Officer job to help the Free Company. The jobs are listed below:

Purging the Free Company Daily as appropriate:
1. The person will need to check the in-game member roster 4 x weekly and make sure the purge is at the specific date, and purge any members who are beyond the purge date who have not notified us that they are on-leave status.
- Remove players in the Free Company who have been offline for 90+ Days that are rank "On Leave".
- It is okay to purge a few days early if we need room for new and active members.
- Remove players who are the rank "Unable to Retrieve".

2. Will be evaluated on how often the purge list is not up to date.

Promoting / Demoting Recruits, Members, Senior Members:
1. Responsibilities to promote or demote Recruits to Members, Members to Senior Members. Or demote if appropriate.

2. Demoted members include members who steal from chests to hamburgler rank or from certain officer roles. Remember with this rank you will need to document on the discord for everyone in that FC to be aware.

3. Promote members to senior members or officer rank promotion as appropriate.

Criteria for Members to be Promoted to Senior Member:

- Active in Free Company chat
- Active in Discord
- If they are a longtime member to the guild and you always see them online.

4. Will be evaluated on how often members are needing to be promoted from Recruit to Member and Member to Senior Member.

Gardener
1. The person will need to check the FC gardens and tend the planted seeds at least once every 24h until they're ready to harvest.

2. Plan together with other Executive Officers (XO) what to plant and what to aim for to cross-breed in the FC gardens items that are necessary for the FC. If you are unsure, ASK. You do not want to be that officer that plucks out millions of gil while cross-breed is in progress.

3. Make sure seeds/soils are always stocked for planting or communicate to in-charge Executive Officer for them to do so.

4. Will be evaluated on Gardening plans to benefit the FC/Stocks of items we use to sell/give members like Krakka roots, Thavnairian Onions, minions mats, etc

Project Manager
1. This person will need to create FC projects to either generate gil, create FC Buff Wheels, or upgrade existing items for the FC.

2. Items to generate Gil may be Housing Skins through the workshop.

3. In order to create FC Buff Wheels you will need items from the airship and it will need to be crafted in the workshop.

4. Upgraded items would include submersibles and/or airships.

5. The officers who will be donating items maybe dungeon runners (tome items like coke, hardened sap) and crafters/gatherers will be crafting and gathering most of the items needed.

6. It will be the Team Managers responsibility to notify the officers which items are required for the Team Craft, how many of each is required, and to keep track of them items as collected in the FC Chest.

7. A lot of Team Managers use ffxivteamcraft.com to keep track of items for projects.

Website Admin
1. Will need to go through the website and correct any spelling errors or grammatical errors as needed.

2. Update the website with new pictures, events, officer position changes, event changes, updates to forms, etc. in a timely manner.

3. Do not overestimate yourself and break the website.

4. Do not touch any html and forget to put a ; at the end of the string or other admins may kill you if they have to clean up your mistakes.

Updating Google Docs
1. Will need to go to the google docs and update officer promotions / demotions with the dates they are promoted to each new rank.

2. They will be responsible for update officers jobs on the google docs in a timely manner.

3. They will responsible for update their specific branches (2) pages in a timely manner.
- A. Officer & FC Info Page
- B. Geuno Officer Duties Page, Luca Officer Duties Page, or Windy Officer Duties Page.

Inventory Manager
1. Send extra items to the subs parts and airships parts to Nimbus for storage (these are core mats and materia).

2. Items that clutter tab 1 (the public tab) for a period of time are moved to tab 5. Then the inventory manager will sell them and put the gil back in the FC chest.

3. Items that members used to craft, the pre-craft items which would be the leftover of sub/air parts, could either be sold for extra gil in the FC chest or sent to Nimbus for storage.

4. Minion crafting things like the peppers and ferns can be stored in the FC chest for extra prizes. Notify the other officers of prizes available for giveaways.

5. Be mindful of team craft projects as to not send to Nimbus or accidentally sell when needed.

These members will make sure that the FC is a smooth running, well oiled machine. They will further help enforce rules and changes in the Free Company, including day to day activity in the Free Companies and helping the Free Company members:

--- While all Officers and above are required to enforce rules, screenshot situations, and post in their respective Officer chats on discord; Auxiliary and Operations/Executive officers are also able and required to discipline members by giving warnings and depending on the infraction/number of infractions place members in The Cabinet or kick from the FC or Discord.
--- These warnings should be given to the infracting individual as soon as possible so that they know what they did wrong and why we are speaking to them to attempt to curb the behavior prior to it getting worse. If a member continues to act out or become belligerant to the point where any Operations/Executive Officers cannot/ will not perform these duties, it may be terms for demotion.

Time Expectations:
- Auxiliary Officers are required to log on at least three (3) times a week to perform their specific duties.
- Operations/Executive Officers are required to log on at least four (4) times a week to perform their specific duties.
- Operations/Executive Officers who are not able to consistently log in four times weekly may be demoted.
- Some jobs may require players to log in 5 minutes a day to do these. If an auxiliary officer chooses one of these jobs they will be required to log in for a short amount of time daily or notify the officer core if they are unable to log in to do this job. This can be split up if multiple Operations/Executive Officers are assigned to one of these jobs.

Operations Officer Brief Definition: Responsible for officer productivity and personnel. They look after day-to-day activities while providing feed back to the entire corps (trial to Executive).

1. This can either be a position for:
A) Executive Officer (formally SO) in training
B) A more job oriented person to help fill in gaps, but do not necessarily want to climb the Officer ladder and participate often in discussions to improve the FC.

2. Operations Officer’s will be asked to take 2-3 jobs that are open and available. We do not need to stack jobs with 3-4 people.

3. There is a max of 2 Operations Officer’s per Free Company.

4. Discussions that you will be able to participate in if you would like will include website / discord changes, planning / improvements, potential branch changes, etc.

5. You will need to catch up on the website rules as for protocol with purging, warnings, kicking, etc. Everything is outlined on our website: www.geuno.net

6. Establish a Team Craft Leader: this is to help fulfill the Crafting / Gathering Officer requirements, generate gil for the FC, update aircrafts/subs or other items needed for the FC.

7. Be aware of needs of officers:
A) Encourage / Work with officers who have need improvement or are not able to meet their minimum requirements to be an officer.
B) Demote / Discipline officers who act out or are unable to meet their requirements. Be aware that officers who do not log on for x length of time or are consistently unable to meet their requirements should be demoted out of the corps.
C) Be aware of the FC needs for officers. Do we need more recruiters? Do we need more crafters and gatherers?

8. Be aware of items needed for day to day tasks: Airship Repair Kits, Airship Tanks, etc.

Promotion to Operations:
Things we will consider for individuals who are requesting a promotion from Auxiliary to Operations:
1. How well does this person do their current jobs?
2. Are they able to keep up with their AO jobs 3 x a week and their Officer jobs with the bare minimum requirements?
3. Are they willing to learn and able to accept criticism?

Promotion to Executive Officer:
Things we will consider for promotion from Operations to Executive Officer:
1. How well do they do their current jobs.
2. **How much do they participate in conversations regarding changing / improving the fc.
3. Do they seem to understand how the fc works or do they not understand enough to be an Executive yet? Can they take criticism?
4. Is there a open slot available for Executive Officer?
